The American Association of Certified Allergists (AACA) is a non-profit organization promoting professional excellence in the field of allergy and clinical immunology. Our primary goal is to promote recognition of the value of certification by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) as an indication of expertise in clinical care, teaching, leadership and research.  We are committed to helping our members maintain their ABAI certification.

AACA is keenly focused on:

• Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and methodology regarding allergy and its related disciplines.
• Fostering and providing continuing education and professional development in the field.
• Offering programs and activities that enhance the recognition of the field.

In order to help establish a pipeline to the specialty, we also focus our efforts on undergraduate education of medical students, residents, and postgraduate students with emphasis on stressing the importance of allergy-immunology and the need to incorporate it in the medical school curriculum.
